The seed that gave birth to Life Transition Services was the realization that life without purpose is in conflict with our nature and design. Without finding meaning and purpose for our lives, each of us would experience want and frustration. The subsequent tension that exists as we journey through life between the empty spaces masquerading as meaning is real. This is often most visibly demonstrated in the lives of the emerging adult. And even more so in the lives of those whom society has moved to the sidelines, those with IDD, to observe the game of life.
And so Life Transition Services began, in 2006, working with young adults in High School helping them discover their interests, providing opportunities for successful experiences and giving them a basis for a new identity , one that is productive and connected to their community.
In 2008, Life Transition Services began working with adults throughout NH.
